I don't even think the BIOS is needed since when I made it work the BIOS folder was on my desktop and then I moved it to the OpenEmu folder on Application Support, everything while the app was running killer instinct. After that I re open the app and the game was still working.CoolROM is a gaming website dedicated to those gaming lovers who are looking for a platform to play classic games on their PC, Mac OS or any other operating system that supports for both games and have an internet connection.
It needed a footprint of the file to look for it and patch it along with the CHD file. It would create an image of the rom files so thats why it wasn't working. I was getting frustrated cuz I've been looking this game to work since I think.
Then after you drag the CHD file close everything and BOOM. Thats why when I was opening the game the file was been transferred in order to fix the corruption. was not working at all cuz it was corrupting the store data file. Now we have the image from the kinstzip from my library and the CHD file together. Now to that folder I dragged the kinst.CHD file and put it there. Cuz if you create the copy manually the app would be confused and thats when it was creating a duplicate with number 2 at the end and consequently give you the" couldn't load the rom" message. Now ,since the app already scanned my roms library on my documents along with the arcade folder I created, there is a folder called arcade.which is normally what OpenEmu would do, But now you would see the kinstzip copy there. Then I went to the task bar, clicked on GO, hold Alt and click on "library >application support then Open Emu folder. I put the kinst.zip file alone in a separate folder that I created on my documents called "arcade" then I opened the emulator and scanned the entire library on my documents including the arcade folder I created. The way I got it to work was instead of creating a new folder and putting the kinst.zip and CHD together in a folder and moving it later.I did it a little bit different. I already watched the other video carefully but it looks like they updated something on OpenEmu that wasn't letting me do it.
